Whether you’ve got an engagement party, a concert, a family get together, or a small garden wedding, hiring a photographer means one less thing to stress about, so you can enjoy mingling with your guests.
From the decorations, to the people, the laughs, the food, the catch ups with old friends, and family. I tend to float in the background, so as to be unobtrusive, however where necessary, I will also direct, to ensure all guests appear in photos.

Most people overestimate how long they require an event photographer for. Three hours of photography (1 photographer) should be enough to cover the main festivities of most engagement parties, housewarmings, birthday parties and corporate events. You may even get away with just a 2 hour photography package (best to check with me first with the details of your event).
Generally if people know a photographer is only there for a limited time, then they will make more of an effort to have their picture taken.
Hiring a professional photographer ensures the best moments of your special event are captured, so you can relax and enjoy it. I will blend into the background taking a mixture of casual moments as well as posed portrait shots to capture everyone at your party. I’ll also ensure I capture the small details like table settings, food, theme and decorations as a complete memory of your event.
My years of travel photography has taught me that working quickly to capture the moment ensures those moments can be relived and enjoyed for years to come. Being flexible, quickly adapting to change means a relaxing, stress free day ensuring your best party moments will be remembered, always. If there are specific groups or family members you would like photos with, then it’s just a matter of letting me know & I’ll make sure I capture it.
Included with my photographic services will be basic editing such as lighting, colours, cropping etc to enhance the best images. From the party, you can usually expect to receive your edited images on a USB stick within a week, however I will be in touch and keep you updated.
Including your photos on a USB stick allows you the freedom to print and share your images exactly how you want them to be displayed. These days it’s easy & cheap to get images printed from department stores or online including as canvas art, posters and even snow globes.
The images provided on the secure online link will be the best images of the event and you can easily share them on Facebook or via email as you wish. You won’t find any big ugly watermarks across my images because I believe your images are worth far more to you than they are to me, which makes it easier for you to share them online.
