Hi and thanks for your interest in hiring me. I’m a writer, photographer and podcaster and I’m available for hire.
All of these skills mean I’m tech savvy. So if you need help in getting your podcast started (including recording and editing), if you need a website built or even if you’ve just bought a new smart television and can’t figure out how to set it up. I’m here to help.
I can also offer advertising packages including banners, audio advertising on my podcasts, and blog.
Need a photographer? Then head straight to my photography pages.
With over 15 years experience in the travel and tourism industry, and a background ranging from travel agent to teacher, to tour guide; I’ve produced detailed and captivating copy for travel brochures, tour itineraries, company websites and newsletters, student textbooks; along with articles in magazines like Get Lost, and Tokyo Notice Board.
Having visited over fifty-five countries, I can say with certainty, I know the travel industry, inside out. From finding the best fare, to dining like a local, to scoring accommodation when everything is booked out. I have a saying, “once a travel agent, always a travel agent” because family and friends, still rely on my travel experience, and industry expertise when organizing their own trips online.
As a regular contributor to Weekend Notes, I review fascinating and fun stuff to do in Sydney, the Blue Mountains, and beyond; from creating listicals on the best pie shops in the Blue Mountains, to capturing a talk by Chris Hemsworth at Sydney’s Supanova.
As a reviewer, I give honest and in-depth reviews ensuring the reader has a comprehensive idea of what they are about to experience, whether it be an off-the-grid tiny house, an intriguing play, or an up and coming musician.
I include all my own photos (where possible), ensuring the reader has a clear idea about what they could experience and most importantly, to get them excited about it. The best place to find my photos in action is in my Weekend Notes articles, in any of my travel-themed blog posts; or my photography portfolios.
Having written poetry, plays and a novel, allows me to use my creativity, to bring uniqueness to every article I write.
As the producer and host of two podcasts (Travelosophy and Jade Talks Stuff, I have recording equipment ready at anytime. If you need voiceover work or wish to have me as a guest on your podcast to talk anything travel. Please contact me.
If you’d like to work with me to create inspirational copy, combined with incredible images for your website, magazine, or business, including editing then please contact me today:
