A pocket of wildness
between two worlds anew,
a border forgotten
where neither world lays claim.
W/so few regions of the world left to escape,
I chuckle and smile and having essentially disappeared.
Not a bar to track me down.
But the chortle of tweeting parakeets
serves a solid shrill reminder..
They’re always watching,
I’ll never be alone
Until I’m gone.
